Granule and powder applicators
Many fertilisers and pesticides come in powder or granule form. PSP have a range of specialist granule spreaders and applicator devices for these products.
As well as accurately delivering granulated or powdered agrochemicals, our equipment has additional uses such as ice melt spreading in winter. The backpack design of our granule applicator and granule spreader make them easy and practical to use to distribute ice melt granules and mean the operator doesn’t have to pull along a wheeled hopper.
Our Granule Spreaders are also ideal for seed spreading and for applying granule fertilisers on lawns and pitches.
Our Backpack Granule Applicator allows for highly accurate dosing. The calibratable dosing chamber can be adjusted to deliver between 8 and 250 grams of product with each trigger pull. This means a precise dose can be given at the base of a plant or tree. Used on its continuous mode, it offers an easy way to spread ice melt granules.
Our Backpack Broadcaster allows for seeds or granulated product to be cast over a wide area. A hand cranked fan distributes the product behind the operator as they walk along.
Our Backpack Granule Spreader has a hand-cranked fan which blows the powder through an applicator tube. This means a plume of powder can be delivered making it a useful device in applications such as red mite powder delivery or distribution of garlic granules as well as for ice melt granules spreading.
Our smaller hand dusters allow for the small-scale distribution of powdered product via a hand operated pump.
Granules can also be delivered underground to root systems via our Granule Injector product. This unique product will deliver pellets of fungicide, fertiliser or insecticide 5 cm below the ground.
